FACT OF THE DAY: Today is Super Bowl LII, featuring the New England Patriots vs. the Philadelphia Eagles. In the 52 years of Super Bowl history, no NFL team has ever won the the Lombardi Trophy in their home stadium.

In fact, the curse is so strong that no host team has even made it to the big Super Bowl game. The Minnesota Vikings came within one game of making it this year. They were close, but just not close enough.
