FACT OF THE DAY: Once again Stephen Curry is raising the bar. The Golden State Warriors superstar guard is the first player in NBA history to make 100 3-pointers during the NBA Finals.
FACT OF THE DAY: Steve Kerr, head coach of the Golden State Warriors, is five for five. Kerr has made it to the NBA Finals in each of his first five seasons as a coach (currently 3-1). He is the first NBA coach to accomplish that feat.
FACT OF THE DAY: Steph Curry (Golden State Warriors) and Seth Curry (Portland Blazers) will become the first brothers in NBA history to face off in either the Western or Eastern Conference Finals. Brothers have never faced off in the Championship Finals either.
FACT OF THE DAY: NBA (National Basketball Association) players made a combined 27,955 3-point shots during the 2018-2019 regular season. That’s over 4,000 more 3-pointers than were made during the ENTIRE 1980’s (23,871).
FACT OF THE DAY: On April 2, 2019, Russell Westbrook joined Wilt Chamberlain in the NBA (National Basketball Association) record books. Westbrook, of the Oklahoma City Thunder, became only the second player to record a triple double with over 20 points, rebounds, and assists. He ended the game with 20 points, 20 rebounds, and 21 assists.
FACT OF THE DAY: Pablo Prigioni became the NBA’s (National Basketball Association) oldest rookie ever when he made his debut on November 2, 2012. Playing for the New York Knicks, the 35 year old would average 3.5 points, 3 assists, and 1 steal per game.
FACT OF THE DAY: Brandon Jennings is the youngest NBA (National Basketball Association) player to score 50 or more points in a game. He accomplished this feat on November 14, 2009, at the young age of 20 years and 52 days. A rookie for the Milwaukee Bucks, he was playing in just his seventh career game.
FACT OF THE DAY: Los Angeles Lakers LeBron James has made NBA (National Basketball Association) history. On February 25, 2019, he became the first player ever to find himself in the All-Time Top Ten for career points (32,292) and assists (8,525).

FACT OF THE DAY: At the conclusion of the 2004-2005 NBA season, Ben Gordon of the Chicago Bulls made history. He became the first (and so far only) player to win both the Rookie of the Year and 6th Man of the Year Award. He averaged just above 15 points per game.
FACT OF THE DAY: On October 31, 1950, Earl Lloyd made history. He became the first African-American player to play in the NBA (National Basketball Association). He played for the Washington Capitols. In 1955, while playing for the Syracuse Nationals, Lloyd would become the first player (along with teammate Jim Tucker) to win an NBA championship.
