FACT OF THE DAY:  We all know the sun is big, but just how big is it? The diameter of the sun is approximately 865,000 miles. It’s circumference is about 2.71 millions miles.

To give some perspective, you could line up the planet Earth 109 times across the sun’s surface (across the face of the sun).
