FACT OF THE DAY:  What is Casu Marzu? Translated it means ‘rotten cheese’. It is a rotten cheese that is made using live maggots. [Yes, you did read that correctly.] It is an Italian dish from the island of Sardinia.

In case you are wondering how a maggot infested cheese is allowed to be legal, the answer is it is not. This ‘tasty delicatessen’ is a banned food item but it can be found on the black market.
