FACT OF THE DAY: Once again Stephen Curry is raising the bar. The Golden State Warriors superstar guard is the first player in NBA history to make 100 3-pointers during the NBA Finals.

FACT OF THE DAY: Yes, the Arctic Monkeys were a talentless band. When the band first formed, none of the member could play a musical instrument. They’ve obviously learned a thing or two since then.

FACT OF THE DAY: Steve Kerr, head coach of the Golden State Warriors, is five for five. Kerr has made it to the NBA Finals in each of his first five seasons as a coach (currently 3-1). He is the first NBA coach to accomplish that feat.

FACT OF THE DAY: The item of clothing that is today recognized as the kilt originated in the 1720’s. It was designed by an Englishman named Thomas Rawlinson.

FACT OF THE DAY: Steph Curry (Golden State Warriors) and Seth Curry (Portland Blazers) will become the first brothers in NBA history to face off in either the Western or Eastern Conference Finals. Brothers have never faced off in the Championship Finals either.

FACT OF THE DAY: When he was a college student at the University of Pennsylvania, Elon Musk challenged himself to live off a $30 food budget for one month. He wanted to see if he had “what it took” to be an entrepreneur. He ate mostly hot dogs and oranges that month.

FACT OF THE DAY: Queen Elizabeth is a crafty lady. She has secret code signals that she sends to her staff whenever she is ready to leave a conversation and move on.

FACT OF THE DAY: Dr. Dre (real name: Andre Romelle Young) is a well known rapper and music producer. He’s made his fair share of money producing hit songs for himself as well as songs for artists such as Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and Kendrick Lamar to name a few. Which makes it hard to believe that the sales of his Beats headphones have produced more money than his music has.

FACT OF THE DAY: In 1954 Carl Brashear became the first African-American U.S. Navy diver. After an injury he suffered while on active duty, he became the first amputee (of any race) to be re-certified as a Navy diver. In 1970 Brashear accomplished his life-long goal. He became the first African-American U.S. Navy Master Diver. His real life story was the inspiration for the 2000 film Men Of Honor.

FACT OF THE DAY: Jay J. Armes is a private investigator… with no hands. A childhood accident (he was 11 years old) mangled both his hands. In 1972, he was the PI hired by Marlon Brando to find his missing son. He was so popular during the 1970’s that the Ideal Toy Company released a Jay J. Armes action figure, complete with detachable prosthetics.
